無駄遣いを減らし本当に買いたいものを買う

物を買うときに節約、納得するコツがある。

There are tips to save money and convince you when you buy things.

convince＝納得させる

「ここを抑えれば、〇〇が買える」という考え方だ。

The idea is that if you suppress this, you can buy XX.

suppress＝抑える

例えば高速道路をつかずに1000円浮かす、コーヒーを買わずに500円浮かす。

For example, you can float 1000 yen without using the highway, or 500 yen without buying coffee.

without=せずに

すると1500円分の本が買える。

Then you can buy a book worth 1500 yen.

そう考えると無駄遣いせず、思いとどまれるのだ。
